The Great Bean Race

Hi! Welcome to our class wiki. We are in Mrs. Hilton's 3rd grade class. We are trying to help Jack get to the giant’s house by doing a special bean growing project with two other classes from Washington and Pennsylvania.

Our Story
Our class has started a make-believe story about what happened one night to our bean plants. We would like Mr. Scott's class to write the middle of the story. Then we would like Mrs. Freeman's class to write the ending. Finally, after we have the whole story posted, we are asking each class to make three suggestions for a title to the story. Each class will vote on their favorite title. The winning title will be added to the story for everyone to see.

Mrs. Hilton’s class :
Late one night at Keller School, a very strange thing happened in Mrs. Hilton's classroom. The bean plants that the children were planting started swaying back and forth. At first they were moving gently, but soon they were actually yanking their roots out of the dirt and slithering down the legs of the table. As soon as they all got to the floor, they joined leaves and made a circle. They bowed their tips towards the center of the circle as if they were plotting some secret mission with each other. All of a sudden they straightened up and started marching toward the door that led out into the hall. .
